Exactly, that’s why I always find it funny and dumb hearing all the scholarship/ recruiting whining and nonsense. Just work hard and execute. The best team will win at the end of the day.

Competitive equity works. If the rules had not changed following the 2015 season St Bernsrds would still be in Division V, Marin Catholic and Cardinal Newman in IV and they would be on way to State. Don't kid yourself. As it is Cardinal screwed Eureka out of a chance to play for a championship because Cronin put his SENIORS interests above other players, parents,fans because they "DESERVED" to play for a state championship. Shows how little CN cares for the public's.

I don't think you realize how historic last night was. The last time public schools won Divisions 4 and 5 in the same year was 2002. Ferndale defeated Justin-Siena in Class A and Tomales defeated CSD in Class B. How old would the Middletown and Fortuna seniors have been in 2002?
