Ferndale plays Fortuna annually, so with the exception of Marin Catholic, they should still be able to compete from year to year. Truthfully, a lot of the schools in this division will have difficulty competing with Marin Catholic every year. Some years yeah, but not every year
ferndale will not play up in that division anymore.
Division IV has always been a small school playoff bracket. Looks like those days are now over.
Valley Christian is saying it will play in D4 also.. it turned in its paperwork, the NCS will approve them .. the NCS has never not approved a team from moving up..
From a parent...
Ferndale and Valley Christian should stay in D5. If things go well they could meet in the section finals with the winner having a chance at the State Small School Bowl.
I know this is not about D-IV Football, but you have to check this crazy stuff out.

There is a chacne that Marin Catholic will want to play up, betters there chance to make the State Bowl Game again.
Antone excited for the upcoming season?? I am!! spring practice has started at some schools. Any pre season predictions?
How is the upcoming season shaping up for everybody?
Marin Catholic coaches stated they are going to play up in D3. With that said, I still think you are looking at the same teams making the playoffs with the addition of Healdsburg, who migh be the team to beat. You still have the regulars such as Salesian, Siena, Ferndale, Middletown, Fort Bragg, St. Pats, etc.
