A New Season
Practices have been underway for a while and many schools have scrimmages set for Labor Day weekend. If you attend any of these, please record your comments here.

Ferndale's season starts Friday of Labor Day weekend in Oakland v. McClymonds.
Did anyone get a chance to look at the state playoff proposal on calpreps.com? Interesing setup but it seems to me like it gives the smaller schools a chance to compete for a state title. Thoughts?
Yes, there are several games the opening Labor Day weekend. I will preview all the games and post scores when I get them. Also, I'll post a recap of the Lake County scrimmage.
I'm not sure how the Cal Preps playoff would work. I would love to see a true state championship, but I don't know if that will happen.
