How large is the d4 playoff field going to be this year? I started to add up the number of teams that could end up meeting the criteria and came up with around 16 teams.

Im pretty sure the NCS is taking up to 16 teams this year.
Teams still in the hunt for playoffs:
Bay Football:
Salesian 5-2
Berean Christian 5-2
Harker 6-1
Valley Christian 2-5
BAY SHORE:
St. Patricks/St. Vincents 6-1
St. Marys 3-4
Piedmont 2-5
HUMBOLT BIG 3:
Fortuna 5-3
HUMBOLDT LITTLE 4:
Ferndale 4-2
Mckinleyville 3-4
NCL I NORTH:
Middletown 6-1
Kelseyville 6-1
Fort Bragg 6-1
Willits 5-2
NCL I SOUTH:
Clear Lake 2-5 or St. Helena 2-5
SCL:
Healdsburg 6-2
El Molino 5-3
From my understanding there are three criteria for making playoffs:
1. League Champs
2. .500 In Division, or
3. .500 in league
Using this criteria, Piedmont and Valley CHristian is out, and Mckinleville will be out if they lose to Ferndale next week.
