Realignment

Realignment will happen in 2012. Sources from the NCS have stated that the realignment will be focused on developing a true California state championship. To do this, the NCS will align teams in leagues that are the same size, as much as possible, (doing away with teams such as Justin Siena in the MCAL). The section playoffs will be limited to 8 teams with a playoff between the 6 section winners in the north who will then play the winner of the 4 section winners in the south for each division.

There will be some minor tweaks next year (such as the NCL doing away with north and south divisions), but the real change will happen in 2012 -- and I'm not talking about the end of the world.

What happened to all of the post in the previous blog daded Dec 11th?

Class A Dude said...

Last night two posters began posting some pretty threatening comments and it was getting a little too out of control and off topic. One even threatened me after I deleted their original posts. They needed to be cooled off. I think people sometimes need a little perspective.

dude, keep up the good work on this site, dont be afraid to delete posts that make this into a ranting joke. if were on this site, we support our north coast section d 4 football. when its all over and done, we are still a small family of 23 or so teams..lets all kick some ass next year, and stay healthy.

Pretty sad that people feel the need to be that way. Maybe you should inform them that you can find out who they are if you really wanted to and have them arrested. I can't believe how out of control people get over High School football. I think both Salesian and Middletown bloggers need to relax and move on. Game is over. Salesian won. Time for basketball.

Just got a peek at the 2011 Middletown Schedule. September 23rd, Brookside Christian at Middletown. Could be a barn burner.

Im assuming they still have Salesian to open the season, so who did they get for the second game?

Anonymous said...

Upper lake next two years

St Marys and St patrick St Vincent took Salesian off their schedule.Wonder why?

I agree with Middletown and St Helena but after that its a toss up.

Great to see some NCL players getting recognition. Jake Davis LB (Middletown) and Cody Ryden DB (Fort Bragg) were named to the ALL STATE Small School team.

Davis was a dominate force in the league for years and was one of best players in all of the Empire. I think it means a lot that Foltmer has said he is one of his top players ever.

Ryden had an outstanding season with over 1,000 yards receiving and 21 touchdown catches. I know he had 9 interceptions, but it was still surprising to see him make it as a DB and not WR.

I agree and was a bit surprised too that Ryden didn't make it as WR as opposed to DB. However, he is very excited to make the team and his family is very, very proud of him.

Is this site dead?

Anonymous said...

its not dead it just slows down a bit in the off season.dont get discouraged tiger.try asking a different question,or make a comment.

Seems like a reasonable question considering there has not been an update to the main page in over two months now. You would think the players making All State would make the main page. I hope everything is ok with Class A Dude.

St. Helena and Middletown are gonna have a battle and a half next season, the winner of the SHHS V. MHS game will be the king of the NCL in 2011.

Combined score of St Helena vs Middletown over the last two years (3 games) has been like 160-9 in favor of MHS? Unless the Saints are suiting up Joe Montana what do we expect to change? Spoiled kids vs tough blue color kids usually goes the same way every year? Middletown will be rebuilding, but 40+ points of rebuilding is a stretch. I guess the St. Helena coach is rethinking his move from the mid-west. Salesian and St. Pats will be the teams to beat in D IV next year. Salesian will beat Middletown by 35 in their openener next year. Go Pride.

salesian and st.pats will be better then st.helena and middletown next year because they are private schools(spoiled kids?)and have massive recruiting bases unlike publlic schools in the ncl...i would be embarassed to be a private school ,and have a tiny podunk town take you to overtime in a championship game...go pride? go hit up oakland for a few 6-2 235 bluechips then cry about a lil cowtown.

Anonymous said...

Very true. Who's the spoiled kids now, Salesian? ITS YOU. Retard

Wow. It's only the offseason. I was embarrassed to read the comment from a Salesian fan predicting a 35 pt win on a very good Middletown squad that was the best team we played all year hands down...until I read the two classless comments that followed it.

"spoiled" (seriously? its not de la salle)

I wish Salesian had some 6'2" 235 blue chippers from oakland just to make you mad. But the 5'10" 185 kids we do have are going to be good enough

I see your point in that St. Helena does have some work to do in order to beat Middletown, but don't forget that St. Helena's JV beat Middletown's JV two years ago, a team that had RB Charles Bertoli and many other great players. Also, Middletown is losing 18 seniors and a few other players that aren't going to play for various reasons, while St. Helena only graduated a handful of seniors, most of which didn't contribute too greatly. The game will be within 10 points in the end for either side.
