Would a loss to the 53rd ranked team in the state lower justins rank by much?

Justin's ranking should rise with this loss. No other team in D-IV is playing anyone close to MC's level, and Justin was within a botched play of tying the game in the third quarter. MC's QB, who has had an incredible year, was held to FOUR completions. MC would beat St. Helena 60-0 with a running clock the entire second half.

Its great to see justin take so much pride in a 22 point loss, maybe hire a few new coaches to keep it under 40 next year.As for st. helena and the running clock, they have seen it in 6 of 8 games(thats 75% for the private schoolers) closing up shop at halftime, thus keeping scores in the 40s rather than the 80s...go jesus!

St. Helena's having a nice little season. Enjoy it while you can. It's just too bad they don't can't play an all-Lake County playoff schedule, too. They'd be kings of that.

Justin played very well. They played at a very competitive level against Marin Catholic and that's most likely the beat team they will have to face the whole year... They held goff to only 4 completions. Not alot teams can say that.

A St. Helena-JS playoff game could be fun. That used to be a good rivalry. Maybe St. Helena's great season could make it one again.

Anonymous said...

Yeah a st.helena vs justin playoff game would be great. It would show just how good st.helena is,not justin would kill them.

St Helena has be up against some of the weakest Lake and Mendocino teams to come along in quite a while. Of course St Helena has not played Willits yet and they won't be playing Ukiah.

Anonymous said...

I agree this the weakest these teams have been in a long time. For example usually every year middletown and fortbragg are power houses and this year they are not, and one bad bounce or middletown would have beaten st.helena.

st helena played and beat berean xtian who is rated higher then ukiah ..willits beat calistoga? lay off all that willits weed

Anonymous said...

Wow st.helena beat bc that must mean they are going to state. All you st.helena people need to lay off the wine and wake up and relize your team is not as good as their record.

Anonymous said...

Talk about St Helena and their WINE. Wait until the get beat up by Willits, then you’ll hear them WHINE about the referees or the field conditions or the snack shack line was too long.

Anonymous said...

Are you kidding you just took my willits weed comment, and changed it to St..helena wine.thats about as original as beating south fork,or calistoga.

To the poster who thinks Justin Sienna's rank should rise because they lost to MC.....check out Maxpreps overall schedule toughness, Justin Sienna doesn't even come close to being near the top at -1.7.

St. Marys 4
St. Pats/St Vincent 7.4
Fortuna 5.2
Healdsburg 9.2

And a bunch of other teams who are ranked lower than them sport much tougher schedules.

Justin-Siena 60, St. Mary's 25. Maybe that's part of the reason St. Mary's SOS is higher.

Anonymous said...

Justin-Siena has hands down the toughest d4 football team mentally, when they actually decide they want to play. only four plays kept them from beating marin catholic, Justin almost had a 100 more total yards then MC. St. Helena is all hype because they beat teams worse then San Rafael. Justin vs Salesian WILL be a great game. Justin should definitely be 7-1 if not 8-0

You guys seem awfully hyped on Justin, I don't know why you're talking crap about St. Helena's strength and how it's so poor, calpreps.com ranks st. helena's strength at 11.6 and justins at 6.7? Riddle me that.

Anonymous said...

Justin are a bunch of spoiled rich kids.who think going 6-4 should get them into heaven ,.Healdsburg and fortuna, are public schools who will issue a beatdown on you..justin and salesian wont control the small private school market anymore ,the big privates will buy you out...enjoy it while it lasts lil privates.

Anonymous said...

To the guy who has trouble reading the grid on the calpreps rankings: Justin's strength of schedule is -1.7. Not great, but nothing like St. Helena's -18.9. You are mistaking SOS for rating.

Anonymous said...

How dare you call these players recruited from the hood “spoiled rich kids”?

Anonymous said...

Never fails to amaze me....maybe you can point out which kids on Justin's team a recruited from the hood. You people are ridiculous and need to educate yourselves....maybe if you went to a great academic school like JS you might be able to figure something out

Anonymous said...

To the guy who thinks justin is spoiled rich kids. #1 you st. helena is about as rich as you can get. #2 Please tell me who St. Helena has played thats even close to the competitive level as MC or St. Marys or Tamalpais. Or ill even go as far to say as John Swett? And quit basing football teams off numbers on a computer screen,( even if you are reading them wrong and thus proving my point on your own) if you knew anything about the sport or ever played it you would know that its not about what the odds are, who should win and who shouldnt, its which TEAM shows up and leaves it all out on the field. The FACT is justin is capable/has done it already, St.Helena hasnt even been tested yet. Oh man they beat Berean Christian, barely. When Berean christian had four of their key starters out on a suspension. Its about football, not numbers.

dear justin guy, looks like your 4 losses(figuring youll go 1-1) has obviously sent you off the deep end.If you cant handle the competition move to the ncl and turn that 6-4 into a fine 8-2. by the way ,you do know the m in mcal stands for marin

Anonymous said...

For the list of current key starters out on suspension(private schools) just go to www.justinsiennainnercityrecruiting.com...to see all the latest private school recruiting miscues...dont forget to check the right box all you mc transfers.23 more points against mc, a few bounces or something against terra, not quitting against drake,a simple punt,oh nevermind...justin should be 8-0 hell lets just make a perfect 10-0

Anonymous said...

the justin guy has a point. who does st. helena even play thats worth mentioning?

Anonymous said...

looks like st. helena is issuing their fair share of beatdowns to other teams, regardless of their size (minus middletown and berean, who they still beat). sorry they don't run up the score like you rich private schoolers feel the need to do

Anonymous said...

ouch...i would expect a personnal scolding,or possible ejection from class a dude very soon.you are truly worthless to this fine football site.

Anonymous said...

Damn I never knew being rich and spoiled had anything to do with football. Obviously money and their rich parents have won their games for them... Apparently I have alot to learn in life.

Anonymous said...

hehehe maxpreps has justin rated higher than st. helena. Its because they have a higher strength of schedule
