I guess everybody got a little excited about Upper Lake. Upper Lake probably wishes they would have just went with the cancelation. Then some of the mystique would still be there. Upper Lake shouldnt be considered a contender until they play on Friday nights.
I think teams such as Marin Catholic and Ferndale would dispute that.
Besides, Upper Lake's field is right next to a cemetery. Who wants to play football at night next to a cemetery (especially after watching a few episodes of The Walking Dead!)
The cemetery is on the side where the visitor's bleachers are. The track that surrounds the field runs alongside the road going into the cemetery (separated by a small fence of course).

What does playing on Friday nights have to do with being a contender?
