21 to 20 Del Norte 5 min left in the game,
Thanks for posting!
I'm not so sure Middletown will defeat Kelseyville by 28 next Friday in Middletown.
Clear Lake JVs defeated St. Vincent by a score of 49 - 6.
So who thinks Clear Lake has a shot at the league title now? There 2-0 in league play and are gaining momentem every week. They play Upper Lake this Saturday.
not only is middletown going to beat kelseyville by 28 they will also be in the championship game as well...
Anyone know why Ferndale and Eureka didn't play?
They didn't play cause Ferndale needed the extra week to recover and get ready for league play
The Clear Lake/St. Vincent game was one of the most exciting and best highschool games Ive ever seen.
Anonymous-Your comment 'one of the most exciting and best high school games Ive ever seen' is a compliment to both schools, their coaches, and the players from each school.
It was a classic. The teams were evenly matched, the scoring was back and forth, St. Vincent had a chance to win in the closing minutes with their two minute drill, Clear Lake was able to rise to the occasion and preserve the win.
It was exciting to the very end.
Definitely sounds like a great game. I wish I was there to see it.
It has been ten years or more since Clear Lake had a 0-5 start. This year 100 rushing yards per game and less than 88 yards passing per game. Complements to the school and the coaches. Maybe Clearlake can get a playoff game with Round Valley, that would be an exciting game.
Its true that Clear Lake started 0 and 5 but look their schedule for the first 5 games. They played Durham whos quarterback is getting recruited by Pac 10 schools. Then to returning champs Fort Bragg. Then 6 and 1 Kelseyville. Then a pretty good Willits team and then 6 and 1 Middletown. Give the boys a break. Theyve started to win when it counts. In league. And theyve been playing some pretty good football the last 2 weeks.
Durham, who’s that. Returning Fort Bragg has a good program but is nothing like last years championship team, you’ll see this Friday against Middletown. The loss to Kelseyville is the first loss to them in 10 years. Everybody from Willits graduated. Of course Clear Lake lost to Middletown, they have a real football program and Clear Lake only beat them once in ten years. TWO WINS! Youth football at its best. St Vincent’s quarterback who also needs to double as their teams leading rusher is averaging 3.7 yards per carry. Cloverdale, well I don't know what to say.
