When Willits beats St. Helena are you going to bump them to number 4 on your rankings?

If you had to rank middletown where would you rank them. You have 4 and 4 st.marys at #10 and they lost to justin by 35

How does JS loose by a big margin, everyone ahead of them wins and they move up a spot??

When I click on maxpreps rankings it has Salesian ranked with the DIII North schools. They play in a D IV division. Can someone explain that? Thanks.

Justin moved up because they lost by a not so big margin to a team that is ranked in the 50's in state. What teams did the other D 4 teams win to? Teams that arent even close to te caliber of Marin Catholic. Remember strength in schedule plays a role in seeding as well.

Steve I think you are looking at a wrong page. Salesian is listed as IV.

This is from the California Bowl Ranking link on Maxpreps. Is the bowl rankings something different?

Some division 4 teams in NCS are gouped with the D3 schools for the state bowl games

The California State Bowl Rankings are different. In the NCS, Division IV schools are those between 400 and 899 students (Salesian has 524 according to the NCS). In the California Bowl system, Division III is made up of Div. III & Div. IV schools with 500+ students.

Thanks. Is the California Bowl System just another name for the NCS playoffs?

St. Helena will lose to willits next thursday. Willits is no joke this year. Both backs have well over 1000 yards rushing with their Qb at around 1000 rushing and almost 1000 passing yards. Solid defense and mentally stronger than theyve ever been. Willits are the underdogs this year. Gonna be a good game
