Congratulations to ____Insert Private School Here____ for winning the NCS Division IV/Class A championship for the 11th time in 13 years.
Get to Cougar stadium early it will be absolutely packed. Seating is only about 3K-4K, expect a lot of people to be standing.
Correction:
The NCS Division V football Championship was played on November 13 in Fort Bragg between two public schools.
Fortuna is the real Division IV Champion.
The two games to be played tonight are the Private School Championships.
If the private and wealthy schools want to get the respect they believe they deserve then they should join with the efforts to change how the NCS determines a proper structure for ALL playoffs. Commissioner Lemmon has been trying to make a change for 3 years.
Classy!
Class A Dudes site has been around for many years but this comment might take the top prize.
In the last 3 years marin catholic won a section title, and lost 2 section final games....then drops down to div 4 to take the title...question is,does this make them losers?or simply just quitters.
Lots of jealousy towards Mazi and his program? Great coach, probably the best in north bay/ redwood empire. Their going to regional open game, can't it argue with succes
You mean "they are" not "their"
Anyway. Jealous? No. This championship is always going to have a taint to it. That's his fault. It's like a major league player who moves down to AAA to win a batting title in the minors. Seams like a good idea at the time but on further review....
Love this one
