Redwood Empire fans could get cheated if D5 and D3 games are at the same time on the same day. No brainier would be double header at the Ranch so everyone could enjoy both games instead of having to choose. Neutral site and best complex in the RE, but NCS will screw it up for the fans
A doubleheader at Rancho Cotate would be cool...
Probably won’t happen, I will bet D V will be in St Pat’s back yard, if not at their school.

D5 Championship game at Alhambra High once again? What a shocker!!! What is this the 14th time in the last 15 years they have hosted?
I know there are certain fields NCS uses that meets their criteria and Alhambra HS is one. I wish they'd look at sac-Joaquin Section's method.
Alhambra is a pretty good venue, better than most HS venues. Since the Coliseum is no longer in play (the best days were watching NCS playoffs all day at the Coliseum) just designate 2 or 3 sites, Dublin, Burrell Field and Rancho. Easy and fair solution with top notch facilities.
Alhambra's facilties suck.
The playing surface is outdated and unsafe.
The locker room situation is a joke. Where are the showers located again?
Why does this site keep getting picked year after year?
Same crap again, put the game somewhere in between the schools not south of both schools, and last year Alhambra had no medical staff there the boy with the broken leg laid on the field for 25 minutes before anybody got there. Also the facility sucks.
Vallejo to Rohnert Park 36.5 miles. Middletown to RP 44.5 miles. Geez can’t get much more neutral than that. And yeah Alhambra's facilities do suck. Plus D5 and D3 same njght, RE football fans Gina have to make a choice in what games to go to.
It would be nice if they had at least two games at the same venue - a lot of us would watch both.

All good points, the better question is about the DV game. Can the Middletown front eight control the line of scrimmage and force St. Pats to punt the ball. It is possible if they can hold them three times Middletown will be there in the end. Middletown will score, but can they slow them down enough...

St. Pats will be moved up already based playing in the title game. 15 points last year, guaranteed 10 this year so they are already there. Impressive having the numbers in just two years, very good program and solid coaching.
And very good recruiting. Oh oops private Christian schools don't recruit.

But the truth is all schools, private and public recruit. To deny that would be just very silly and naive and not in touch with reality.
Its 2017 that’s how the game is played. It can be debated it’s for better or for worse. I think the product on the field is better than in years past and interest is very high so something is working.
How does a town like Willits, fort bragg Ferndale recruit they have nothing to offer and the commutes are not easy.
