Preview of Upcoming Games

Bay League

Harker (2-2) Vs. Emeryville (0-6)

Emeryville is having a tough first year back at the varsity level.
Prediction: Harker wins 50-0.

St. Elizabeth (3-2) at Berean Christian (3-2) {Saturday Game}

This is an interesting match-up. St. Elizabeth is a Division V school, but is probably better than most Division IV schools (much like St. Vincent in the NCL I South). Berean Christian is a good team and they are playing at home.
Prediction: Berean Christian wins 21-20.

Bay Shore League

John Swett (1-4) at Encinal (5-0)

Encinal is the favorite to win the Bay Shore League. It looks to be a long night for John Swett.
Prediction: Encinal wins 49-6.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent (4-1) at Kennedy (4-1)

This is another interesting match-up for this weekend. Both teams come into the game with 4-1 records and each lost to a Marin County team the first weekend of the season. It is really a toss up and I think the game won't be decided until late.
Prediction: Kennedy wins 28-24.

St. Mary's (1-4) at Moreau Catholic (0-5)

I think this is St. Mary's game to lose.
Prediction: St. Mary's wins 21-7.

HDNL Little 5

Ferndale (6-0) is idle.

Marin County Athletic League

Justin Siena (3-3) at San Rafael (0-5)

This will be one of two games Justin Siena should win. If Justin Siena loses this game, their prospects for a spot in the playoffs drops significantly.
Prediction: Justin Siena wins 33-20.

NCL I North

Lower Lake (0-5) at Clear Lake (2-2-1)

Lower Lake has struggled the first five games of the season, but they did hold their own for a while against a good St. Vincent team last week. Clear Lake is the odds on favorite, but I smell an upset.
Prediction: Lower Lake wins 20-17.

Kelseyville (2-2-1) at Fort Bragg (4-1)

Fort Bragg is one of the best teams in the NCL I North and Kelseyville comes in at the middle of the pack. How good is Kelseyville? Not good enough to beat Fort Bragg on the road.
Prediction: Fort Bragg wins 28-6.

Willits (0-5) at Middletown (4-1)

Middletown is the other best team in the NCL I North. Willits comes in with an 0-5 record and unfortunately lands in Middletown for their homecoming. Tough luck.
Middletown wins 42-0.

NCL I South

Cloverdale (3-2) at St. Vincent (5-0) {Saturday Game}

St. Vincent looks to run the table in the NCL I South and grab the number one seed in the Division V playoffs. Cloverdale is fighting for second place with all the other teams in the league and a possible Division IV at-large birth.
Prediction: St. Vincent wins 34-14.

St. Helena (3-2) at Upper Lake (3-2) {Saturday Game}

This is another interesting match-up. I'm really not sure how good or how bad either teams is. I only know things start to make more sense if Upper Lake wins.
Prediction: Upper Lake wins 28-21.

Freelance

Burton (1-4) at Dougherty Valley (5-1)

I think Dougherty Valley will win out and earn an at-large birth in this year's playoffs.
Prediction: Dougherty Valley wins 35-21.
