Tomales only team in NCS with a winning record not to get into playoffs

I think they should have opened up the Div V to include up to 12 teams. There are the same number of teams in Division V as there are in Divisions IV and I, which both have up to 16 teams.

I'm not saying that there should have been 12 teams this year, but UP to 12 teams.

I see no upsets in either bracket. The 1 and 2 seeds will play in both championship games.

I agree, up to 12 seeds would be best for D I IV & V it gets all the qualifying, deserving teams in, while leaving the 3-7's and 4-6's out of the picture. It also gives the top seeds a well deserved bye.

With the exception of a bad loss at Tamalpais, I thought JSHS would have received a higher seed given the strength of schedule. Regardless, all roads lead to San Marin - should be an exciting playoffs!

Only 9 teams applied for Div V. Southfork,Cloverdale, and Clear lake didn't apply. Tomales loss to Emery cost them that last spot. I agree with strength of schedule arguements but scheduling tough teams and losing shouldn't give you a higher seed the wins against good teams are what should move a team up.

Tamalpias is a D3 playoff team. Not exactly a bad loss
