I'm not going to argue that McKinleyville didn't sneak in the back door, cuz they did. But as a football fan I would rather see the top teams duke it out. From everybody's talk here they should have gotten creamed. Looks like McKinleyville earned their number 7 seed and home game
And all the protest against them was some great motivation
Moreau Catholics coach that was in the fort Bragg side of the stands was an ass, never heard another coach be so disrespectful, he was removed from the stands in the 4th quarter by the A.D. A very poor example for the kids
Mckinleyville is a very good team and played great last night against El Molino. I must have missed any talk that they were going to get creamed or even lose. The only talk I read was questioning if they had the wins to be eligible for playoffs.
Why was their coach in the stands? Are you sure it was their coach?
Not every playoff eligible team is good and not every ineligible team is poor. Last year a paperwork error forced Middletown to self report the mistake which resulted in Salesian getting a forfeit win over Middletown. That win is what qualified them for tbe playoffs. They won the section title last year.
McKinleyville is a good team and while many of us believe they didn't qualify, they are in. Any change we'd like to see happen will, hopefully, take place after this post season is over.
Fort Bragg has the best stadium around but they did not build the announcers booth with a perch on top for the spotters. So spotters are standing up behind the crowd. He most definitely was a coach wearing headphones dressed in coaching attire. Also the fact he kept saying "I'm a coach I can say whatever the F___ I want".
He was also heard telling his coaches on the sidelines to intentionally target injured Fort Bragg players. Really classy.
The same coach blowing kisses to the crowd after the game was a nice touch. I've never seen anything like it.
He also said some very nasty things to a mother that asked him to stop. His headset was connected with the coaches on the sidelines so they must condone that sort of behavior otherwise they would have put a stop to it very shamefull. Never heard anything like that before from a COACH of children
Such behavior from a catholic school? Pope Francis would not approve!
If you were a witness to that you should file a complaint with the NCS and copy it to the CIF, Moreau Catholic Administration and several newspapers (and make sure each knows who else was copied).
St. Mary's vs. Piedmont should be a hell of a game...
^A little early for that don't you think?
Thanks Class A Dude for cleaning things up
