Middletown was completely robbed of a clear fumble which resulted in a touchdown to tie the game at 14-14 at the half. That horrible call changed the game for Middletown.

I saw something I've never seen in a football game last night. With the score tied late in the 4th Qtr, Stellar Prep's talented QB scrambled for a big run and wss pushed out of bounds on the Middletown sideline. He immediately grabbed hus ankle (it wasn't serious and would return 3 plays later). But when he was down two Stellar Prep coaches ran across the field. One went to their injured player. But the other made a beeline to Middletown' s head coach Bill Foltmer. He grabbed Foltmer by the scruff his collar and screamed at him. Then he cocked his fist back. That's when the head referee pulled him back. The ref then made a gesture that we thought meant the coach was ejected (thumb over his back shoulder- twice). But the Stellar Prep coach was not ejected and no penalty was called.

I should also add that Stellar Prep is a very good team and they did everything right to win the game. If Middletown had won, they were looking to get creamed by Salesian next Saturday. Stellar Prep, however, has a wildcard in their QB. He has a strong arm and throws a beautiful ball, but he makes plays with his legs. Salesian (if they get by St. Vincent today) will be favored, but don't count out Stellar Prep.

another week and another post about a school that is led by god and the beliefs of the lord. But i guess their beliefs and values do not apply to their FOOTBALL COACHES

from my understanding stellar prep is a secular private school

salesian will crush stellar prep, my prediction is 49 to 16

Correct...Stellar Prep is not a religious private school. But coaches should be held to a high standard no matter where they coach. Physically attacking an opposing player or coach should not be tolerated.

Maybe Gil Needs to step up and be a commissioner and suspend the Stellar coach. The altercation must be on video, there was plenty of adds about sportsmanship during the games

Dude. You can report it along with every one who was with you.

Not sure where my comment went. But I was saying, us Die Hard Middletown Football fans tend to be not good losers in the post season. The refs were clearly not at the game that night. I saw TONS of Stellar holding calls blown, a horse collar blown, countless hurdles blown, that crazy scene with the Stellar coach gone bad (in all my years I've never seen a coach taunt another coach and still be in the game. All that drama and QB just got up and walked off the field.), a botched fumble by the Stellar QB (who is a beast and blessed by the football Gods. I've never seen a ball thrown like that!), and two head to heads from Stellar (those always get called. Almost too much). Folt's boys are always a class act and I hate to see them (us) lose.

Yes, hater for sure

Apart from the one coach, Stellar is also a class act.

You have trouble reading? There are some very good programs out there for people like you. It's never too late to learn.

I agree...other than that one coach they played with a high degree of integrity and did all the right things to win the game. And as I also noted in my comments above Salesian will be favored but Stellar Prep should not be counted out.

For the record, Salesian is good enough to play up a division and stop following MTown around like an annoying cock roach. I can't stand that team. Next time we play up, I gaurentee they will too. I wish Folt would scratch them from our sceduale and play Santa Rosa High or another Somoma Co team. It's stupid starting EVERY year with a lose against that team. Salesian needs to man up and stay division 4. They always play down from where they should... Haters gonna hate.

Somoma Co. Lol
