Well let me be clear on this statement and sound very bias. Valley christian goes no futher. You can put the redwood stamp of approval on that or the middletown signature if i may.

Do not pay too much attention to the seedings. Div IV teams are very difficult to seed because the teams play very different degree of difficulty schedules. For example, St. Mary and JS play tough schedules and Ferndale plays a very easy schedule. As a result the W-L records must not be considered too seriousely. However, the seeding people usually rely too much on these records. Remember that last year the #1 and #2 seeds (Ferndale and Middleton) did not get to the finals.

Hmmm... but Ferndale did make it to the finals the year before last (and won) and 11 times in the last 18 years (won 7 times). Maybe that means something. Maybe their "so-called" easy schedule means about as much as the seedings. Are you actually saying teams like Moreau Catholic, Albany, Swett and Kennedy constitute tough teams? I think Ferndale played Swett this year. Maybe you could look up the score for me. Did I mention that Ferndale is really only a Div V school? Or that their enrollment is all of 163 and every team they played (minus 1) had larger enrollments. Some as many as 6X or 7X that of Ferndale's? Does that make it easy for the Wildcats?

J-S does play a tough schedule but in any other year they don't make the playoffs and they should be playing in Div III anyway. That doesn't bode well for St. Mary's. I think the Braves knock off the #1 seed this weekend.

Justin Siena is exactly where they should as far a divisions go. The enrollment floats around 600 students every year and are not even the biggest d IV school.
