American (0-8) at Dougherty Valley (6-2) Friday night
This is Dougherty Valley's last regular season game. If they beat winless American, they will finish with a 7-2 record and a likely at-large bid for the Division IV playoffs if they choose to apply for it. American, while winless, is still a Division I team that is about equal to Mission San Jose, who lost 16-0 to Dougherty Valley last week. I think Dougherty Valley will win, but it may be a close game.
Prediction: Dougherty Valley wins 12-7.
