Pre-Seedings Seeding

After a couple of last night's games -- namely Clear Lake's loss and St. Patrick-St. Vincent's loss, I have reworked my seeding prediction (assuming Justin Siena and Ferndale win today).

1. Ferndale (10-0)

2. Middletown (9-1)

3. Justin Siena (6-4)

4. Salesian (8-2)

5. St. Patrick-St. Vincent (7-3)

6. Fort Bragg (8-2)

7. Dougherty Valley (7-2)

8. Clear Lake (6-3-1)


All four top seeds would host games and each team would open against a team they had not played in the regular season.

I did hear that both Cloverdale and St. Helena would apply for an at-large birth. I would assume St. Mary's would as well if they win today. All three of those teams would be 5-5. I think Berean Christian will apply as well. Their record is 7-3. Dougherty Valley should be a sure thing in the playoffs, but you never know what happens in the meeting -- or if all the team reps show up.
